Managing payment preferences is essential for any e-commerce business to streamline transactions and provide convenience to customers. Unizap offers flexible options for setting up payment methods, including Cash on Delivery (COD) and online payments. This guide walks you through the process of configuring your payment settings on both the Unizap App and Desktop platforms.
You can decide how you receive payments for orders from your customers. To set your payment preferences, follow these steps:
Unizap App
Go to the ‘Settings’ tab of the application.
Find ‘Payment Settings’ and click on ‘Continue’.
Cash On Delivery: Using this feature, you can either allow or disable the Cash on Delivery facility for your customers. You can choose to allow cash on delivery on store pickup or delivery completed by a last-mile delivery partner. Cash on Delivery facility is not available for deliveries completed by hyperlocal delivery partners.
0% Commission: Once you tap on the 0% commission bar, a price list indicating the rate of charges of various channels is presented along with the applicable transaction value while initiating transactions.
Accept Online payments: This feature lets you receive payments from your customers online. Before enabling this feature, you need to activate online payment by giving in your bank details.
For adding your bank details,
Go back to the ‘Settings’ Page.
Go to ‘Activate Online Payments’ at the top of the page, below the ’Themes’.
Add your bank account details and PAN number.
Accept the Terms and Conditions.
Click on ‘Activate Online Payment’ to complete the process.
Once your details are verified, you will be directed to the ‘Payment Acceptance’ tab.
If you want to enable online payment, click on the button beside ‘Accept Online Payments’.
If your Pan and bank account match, then your details will be verified and you will be able to receive online payments. If it does not match, you will have to reach out to the admin. Click on ‘Contact Admin’ to know where the issue lies.

Go to the ‘Store Settings’ tab on the left-hand side of the control panel.
Click on ‘Payment Acceptance’.
