How can I process the shipment for an order?

Efficient shipment management is essential for the success of any online business. Unizap offers comprehensive tools and options to facilitate seamless delivery processes for merchants. Here's an overview of how merchants can manage shipment for orders using both the Unizap app and desktop platform:

Unizap App

  1. Go to the orders section and select a particular order.                                                                                                                       

  2. Accept the order and mark the order as ‘Ready’ once it is ready for delivery.                                                                                  

  3. Scroll down and click on ‘Ship Order’.                                                                                                                                                   

  4. You can either click on ‘Create shipping Now’ to use a third-party delivery partner for shipping or ‘Ship Yourself’ to complete the delivery yourself.                                                                                                                                                             
                                                                                                                                                                  
  1. Delivery fulfilled by a shipping partner
  1. To get the delivery fulfilled by a shipping partner, provide the order dimensions on the ship order tab.                                       

  2. The length, width, and height have to be given in CM and the weight has to be given in kg. Now here, there are two options.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

  3. Click on find shipping partner option.                                                                                                                                                  
  4. The available partners are displayed below.                                                                                                                                         

  5. A list of available partners along with their delivery charges will appear.                                   
  6. Select a particular partner and click on continue. You will be able to ship an order only if you have a shipping balance.   7. Under ‘Delivery by 3rd Party’, you will find the estimated pickup time, estimated delivery time, and details of the assigned delivery executive.
  8. Now click on ‘Mark Order as Picked Up’.                                                                                                                                              

  9. Once the order is delivered and the payment is made, mark the order as completed.                                                                   
                                
  1.  Self-delivery
After an order is received, go to the order section and click on an order. 
  1. Accept the order using the dropdown and once the order is ready, mark it as ‘Ready”.                                                                  

  2. Scroll down and click on ‘Ship Order’ option.                                                                                                                                       

  3. At the top right corner, click on ‘Ship Yourself’.                                                                                                                                    

  4. Under the delivery by store tab, you can add the estimated delivery time and the delivery date, along with the dispatch time.
  5. In the delivery tab, you can also add tracking details like the Tracking Number and the Name of the Shipping Carrier. Click on save.                                                                                                                                                                                                    

  6. In the pop-up tab you can also add the contact of the delivery partner.
  7. Lastly you can also use the ‘Cancel Shipment’ tab to cancel the shipment. 

Unizap Desktop

Go to ‘Manage Orders’ on the control panel. 
  1. Select a particular order. Click on ‘View Details’.                                                                                                                               
     
  2. Accept the order using the drop-down and mark the order as ‘Ready’ once it is ready for delivery.                                              

  3. Go to ‘Create Shipping Order’.                                                                                                                                                               

  4. You can either click on ‘Create shipping Now’ to use a third-party delivery partner for shipping or ‘Ship Yourself’ to complete the delivery yourself.

  1. To get the delivery fulfilled by a shipping partner, click on find ‘Ship Yourself’’.                                                                               
                           
  1. Choose the estimated delivery time using the dropdown.
  2. Click on the three dots at the upper right-hand corner of the box. Click on ‘Modify Tracking details’.  Give in the tracking number and shipping carrier details. This step is to provide more information to your customers.                                                

  3. Click on the three dots at the upper right-hand corner of the box. Click on ‘Add Delivery Contact’. Give the contact details of your delivery executive. This will help your customer reach out to the delivery executive in case of any issues.
  4. In case you want to cancel the shipment, click on the three dots at the top right corner of the box and then click on ‘Cancel shipment’.
  5. After saving the tracking number and shipping carrier details. Click on save, and a new pop-up box will appear asking for a delivery boy.
  6. Click on ‘Add New’ if you want to add a new delivery boy. It gets updated in the ‘Order details’ section.
  7. In case of cancellation of shipment, you can either ‘Try again’ using a third-party delivery partner or ‘ship manually’.
