Efficient delivery management is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in an online business. Unizap offers robust features to streamline delivery processes, including options for third-party delivery integration. Here's an overview of how merchants can configure delivery settings and utilize third-party delivery services on both the Unizap app and desktop platform:

For Delivery Settings:

1)Under the ‘settings’ tab, go to the delivery settings section.


2)Click on delivery to edit the following:

  1. You can choose whether you want to deliver your products locally or anywhere under the ‘Delivery type’.                                                                                                                                     
                              

  2. Choose a delivery time from the dropdown menu, from the time of receipt. Customers will be happy to order from your store, the shorter the time taken.                                                       
                                  

  3. Specify the order subtotal before discounts. This delivery method won’t be available at checkout, for orders below the amount you mention.
  4. Set a base charge, additional charge under ‘delivery rates’. You also have the option to set free delivery on or above  a particular order value. This might interest your customers, to buy from you.
  5. You can set a kilometer range within which you may give your customers the privilege of 0 delivery charges under ‘free delivery range’

2)For third party delivery,

  1. Click on ‘Delivery’ and choose whether you want to deliver your products locally or anywhere under the ‘Geo Radius’.                                                                                                                                                   
                                          
  2. Choose a delivery time from the dropdown menu, from the time of receipt. The lesser time it takes, the happier your customers will be!                                                                                                                 
     
  3. Specify the order subtotal before discounts. This delivery method won’t be available at checkout, for orders below the amount you mention.

3) It is important to generate a shipping balance before you ship the order. You can easily generate the balance with the help of a few steps mentioned below:

  1. Click on the ‘Available shipping balance’ section, under the delivery settings.                                                                                                                                                   
     
  2. Enter an amount under ‘Current Balance’ and click on ‘Add Money’.                                                                                                                                                                     
  3. Choose from any of the available payment options- debit/credit card, Net banking, UPI or even mobile wallets.                                                                                          
  4. The shipping balance has been added. You can also view the history of all your previous shipping balances with required details about the same. 

Unizap Desktop

  1. Click on ‘Add 3rd party delivery’ under delivery settings highlighted in a blue box and add your delivery partners from among the available options.
  2. After adding delivery partners, you can enable the ‘auto assign delivery partner’ option, if you want to get the delivery partners assigned automatically for the future. Otherwise, disable it.     
     
  3. ‘Select the order state’ as new, ready or accepted for your customers to know about the order status.                                                                                                                                                         
  4. You can enable store pickup and third-party delivery together, which allows your customers to either get their products shipped to them or collect it from your store.
  5. Enable store pick-up if you want to allow the customers to order online and pick up the items from the store.
  6. Add a relevant order processing time available under delivery settings, which will enable your customers to know its order status.                                                                                                       
     
  7. You can view the ‘store pickup address’ and edit the same when required.
  8. If the customer wishes to choose their own time of delivery, they can conveniently choose it from ‘Scheduled delivery’ available under delivery settings.
