How to update inventory?

Overview:

Managing inventory is crucial for any online store to ensure accurate product availability and timely fulfillment of orders. Whether you're using the Unizap mobile app or accessing the desktop version, updating stock efficiently is essential to keep your storefront running smoothly.

Unizap App

To update the stock in the mobile app,

  1. Go to the products section.
  2. As a merchant, one has to update the inventory almost on an everyday basis. Hence a quick and easy method to update the stock is a need for all merchants.                                                                                                                                                   

  3. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and click on the ‘Move to Out of Stock’ section.                                                   

  4. Select all the products whose inventory you wish to update.                                                                                                             
  5. Click on ‘Move to Out Of Stock’.                                                                                                                                                            

  6. Click on Sync now.
  7. Now go to the Out-of-Stock section and click on the three dots again.                                                                          
  8. From here, click on ‘Move to Instock’.                                                                                                                                                   

  9. Select the products and click on ‘Move To In stock’.                                                                                                    
  10. From the pop-up tab, set Stock Control to Yes.                                                                                                                                  

  11. Update the quantity of inventory present with you. Set ‘Allow Backorder’ to Yes if you wish to keep receiving orders even after your inventory runs out and click on save.
  12. Click on ‘Sync Now’ to update the change on the storefront.                                                                                                            

  13. The inventory has been updated successfully.

To update the stock on your storefront,

The following methods can be used: -

  1. Go to Catalogue then select the ‘Manage Products’ section from the Control Panel of your online store.                   

  2. The active products are displayed here. You can also go to the ‘Filter Products’ option and choose between ‘Active’, ‘Out of Stock’ and ‘Discontinued’ and ‘Draft’ under the Stock Status bar to view the products.                      

  3. Click on the ‘Mass Update’ and click on the ‘Move to out of stock’ option to move the required products to the out-of-stock section, whose inventory you have to update.                                                                                              

  4. Now select all the products accordingly and click on ‘Move to out of stock’.                                                                   

  5. Now click on the ‘Out of stock’ option from the Stock Status tab.                                                                                    

  6. Click on Mass update and select ‘Move to Instock’.                                                                                                            

  7. From here, select all the products whose inventory you are about to update and click on ‘Move to In stock’.             

  8. From the pop-up tab, set Stock Control to Yes.                                                                                                                  
  9. Update the quantity of inventory present with you. Set ‘Allow Backorder’ to Yes if you wish to keep receiving orders even after your inventory runs out and click on Save.                                                                                            

  10. The products are displayed in the active section with the updated quantity.
